Cobbles to Comedy.

I have had a fantastic month it has been busy to say the least.  I have been showing prospective buyers around the house and then during the fantastic weather getting lots of furniture finished and sold so it has been a great July.

I have also been to my favourite charity shop International Aid Trust in Warrington for more bargains just see the pictures below.

The first two pictures go together to make a lovely mirrored dressing table with masses of storage, the mirror has a bevelled edge and is in very good condition but it does have some very faint lines running across but the lines definitely do not spoil the reflection (no I’m not being vain, you know what I mean).  Also the handles look like the originals and it is a very solid piece without being too heavy.

The third picture is a 25 bottle wine rack and finally a nest of 2 tables which I can tell you are one of my biggest sellers, as soon as I have finished one and advertised it, it sells more or less straight away.  All of the items above can be commissioned to your colour and specification, just let me know as soon as possible and I will be more than happy to try to oblige.

I’m loving the new series of “Kirstie Allsopp’s fill your house for free” and the glass-topped table made from a gear box is my favourite so far.  After watching I am now a member of   and, great sites for getting stuff that people don’t want anymore therefore you get it for free.

I am just going to put my promoters hat on for the moment and let you all know of a fantastic night of comedy that takes place on the last Friday of every month come rain or shine.  The venue is Golborne Sports and Social Club, Stonecross Lane, Lowton, Warrington, Cheshire, WA3 2SE. It’s hosted by comedy promoter Guy Thomas and it really is a brilliant night, past comedians that you may have heard of are, Justin Moorhouse from Phoenix Nights and soon to be in Coronation St., Jo Caulfield who frequently appears on Mock the Week and Chris Ramsey from the sitcom Hebburn.  Even the comedians who are up and coming do not disappoint and the prices behind the bar are more than reasonable.  If you are in the WA3 area then do not miss it you won’t be disappointed.  For tickets use this link and beg Guy Thomas for as many as you require and if you’re lucky he may just sort you out 🙂

The whole family went to Manchester last week to do the “Coronation Street Tour” before it finally closes its doors in October due to the studios relocating to Media City at The Salford Quays.  As massive fans we all loved it and the guides were informative without going on and on and to see behind the scenes in the houses and the Rovers Return was really good fun.  So if there any tickets left I thoroughly recommend it!

Make sure you check back in a few weeks to see how the above items have turns out.

That’s all for now
