ABOUT ME

VINTAGE CAT

Amanda Bagley

I recently discovered that I have a passion for transforming old fashioned or unloved furniture into beautiful Shabby Chic pieces that need to be in homes where they will be appreciated.  The first piece I did myself was a console table I found in a shed.

As with many old pieces of furniture during its lifetime there will have been many knocks and scratches and spillages but at Vintage Cat we believe that these little hiccups in its history make up the unique look of the furniture that we upcycle and hand paint back to life.

My aim over the next few years is to replace every piece of furniture in my home with second-hand, pre-loved, Shabby Chic, up-cycled, reused, reclaimed, refurbished, rejuvenated and any other RE word that there is.  So once I have turned it from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan you’d better buy it quick otherwise it will be in MY home 🙂
